Overview

ACN onboards providers through a guided process to ensure quality and consistency across the marketplace. The typical timeline is 30 days from initial contact to go-live.

The Process

1

Application & Qualification

Days 1-3Submit your interest and basic information about your API:
  • What your service does
  • Current API documentation
  • Your target use cases for AI agents
  • Expected call volume and pricing expectations
The ACN team reviews your application for marketplace fit.
2

Discovery Call

Days 3-5A call with the ACN team to:
  • Understand your API capabilities in depth
  • Discuss pricing strategy for agent consumption
  • Review technical requirements
  • Answer your questions about the platform
3

Agent Readiness Assessment

Days 5-10ACN evaluates your API against the Agent Readiness checklist:
DimensionWhat We Check
Machine ReadabilityStructured responses (JSON), consistent schemas, clear error codes
ReliabilityUptime history, timeout handling, rate limit headers
Agent CompatibilityStateless operations, clear parameter descriptions, predictable behavior
Payment ReadinessAbility to handle per-call billing model, USDC on Base
You’ll receive a detailed assessment with recommendations for any areas that need improvement.
4

Endpoint Configuration

Days 10-20Work with the ACN team to:
  • Define your endpoint schemas (parameters, request/response formats)
  • Set per-call pricing for each endpoint
  • Write clear capability descriptions (used by the discovery engine)
  • Standardize error responses if needed
  • Configure upstream authentication
5

Testing & Validation

Days 20-25Your endpoints are deployed to ACN’s testnet:
  • End-to-end testing (discovery → payment → execution → response)
  • Schema validation testing
  • Error handling and timeout behavior
  • Load testing for expected call volumes
6

Go Live

Days 25-30Once testing is complete:
  • Your service is activated on mainnet
  • Endpoints are indexed in the discovery engine
  • First calls begin flowing
  • The ACN team monitors the initial period for any issues
